✈️ Air Travel

The closest airport to Marbella is Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport (AGP), about 40 minutes away by car. You will likely need to connect through a major European hub like Madrid, Barcelona, London, or Paris. <a />CHECK FLIGHTS</a>

🚕 GETTING TO THE VILLA

The villa is a 45-minute drive from Málaga Airport. Uber costs around €60–75, and car rentals are available at the airport if you prefer to drive yourself. Parking at the villa is very limited, so please only plan on renting a car if you need it, and please email or text us if you do plan on renting a car, as we need to inform the venue ahead of time.

Stay a WhileMost of our wedding celebrations will take place at La Susana, a private villa nestled in the hills in Marbella. Whether you’re staying with us at the villa or nearby in town, there are plenty of great options to make your stay comfortable.

Marbella is wonderfully compact, and most places are just a 10–15 minute drive from the villa. For guests not staying on-site, there are plenty of great hotels and rentals nearby. Below are a few in the area:

🏘️ Explore Marbella's Old Town

Stroll through Marbella’s Old Town — a charming maze of whitewashed buildings, cobblestone streets, and flower-filled balconies. Discover cute boutiques, cozy tapas bars, and sunny cafés perfect for a leisurely espresso or pre-party wander. Plaza de los Naranjos is a must-see—lined with cafés and orange trees, it’s a great spot to relax and people-watch.

Playa de la Fontanilla – Central and lively. Beautiful beach with calm waters and scenic views. Perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or grabbing a fresh juice by the shore. Cabopino Beach – More relaxed, with soft sand and natural dunes Nikki Beach Marbella – Known for its lively atmosphere, music, and stylish loungers—it’s a fun daytime experience even if you’re just sipping mocktails.

🚶 Walk the Paseo Marítimo

This seaside promenade is perfect for an afternoon stroll or sunset walk. Enjoy beach views, local artists, and cafes dotted along the path.

🛥️ Glam on the Water: Puerto Banús

Stroll the marina at Puerto Banús to take in luxury yachts, designer boutiques, and beachfront lounges — perfect for people-watching, sunset cocktails, or designer shopping. Speaking of shopping, if you need a one-stop shop for fashion, beauty, and gifts, swing by El Corte Inglés — Spain’s iconic and mega department store.

If you're staying longer, consider these:Ronda – A stunning hilltop town known for its breathtaking views, a famous stone bridge, and peaceful streets (~40 min drive). Mijas Pueblo – A charming white washed village in the mountains with panoramic views and artisan shops (~45 min drive). Málaga – A vibrant coastal city known for its museums (like the Picasso Museum) and historic charm (~1 hour drive).

Between events, feel free to relax at La Susana — take a dip in the pool, sip something refreshing, or just soak up the sun. We’ll also have optional morning wellness activities like yoga for those who want to ease into the day.

Ubers and taxis are available, and many places are a short drive from each other. Renting a car can be helpful if you plan to explore beyond Marbella. Q: What’s the best way to get to the venue?A: La Susana is a private villa just outside central Marbella and easily reachable by Uber, taxis or a rental car. Q: Will there be transporation to the Welcome Dinner?A: Yes! We will have two shuttles that will take guest to and from the Villa and the Rio Real Golf Hotel to the Farm Restaurant. Attire

Q: What’s the dress code?We will be "resort-chic" all weekend. Here’s a sneak peek to get you inspired:•	Haldi: Light, casual, &amp; breezy. Bright colors, especially yellow.•	Sangeet: Festive and full of life — think traditional Indian wear or vibrant party outfits.•	Wedding Ceremony: Elegant traditional attire like saris or lenghas, or Western dresses or suits.• Reception: Glam / modern Indian or Western. Evening dresses or cocktail wear. Black-tie optional.Note: Recommend opting for block heels, espadrilles, wedges vs. high "pencil" heels as portions of the villa have manicured grass. Q: Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?A: Both will be outdoors, weather permitting. Please plan for sun during the day and cooler temps in the evening.

Q: Will there be vegetarian or dietary options?A: Yes! In fact, the menu will be fully vegetarian. Please include any other dietary needs in your RSVP.

Q: Can I bring a plus-one?A: If your invitation includes a plus-one, their name (or “Guest”) will appear on the RSVP. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out. Q: Are children invited?A: Unless otherwise specified, we're celebrating with an adults-only weekend.

🇪🇸 Spain Travel Tips

Q: Do I need to speak Spanish?A: Most people in tourist areas speak English, though learning a few basic phrases is always appreciated! Q: What’s the currency?A: Spain uses the Euro (€). Cards are widely accepted, but it’s helpful to carry some cash for smaller vendors or taxis. Note, buses in Marbella only accept cash.

Q: When should I RSVP by?A: Please RSVP by July 31st so we can plan accordingly and give our vendors a final guest count. You can RSVP directly through this website—we’d really appreciate it if you could respond on time!
